Safety First

Timbro’s company philosophy states, “We will develop, maintain, improve and enforce a corporate safety policy and philosophy that is committed to the safety and welfare of the people involved in all our projects including the customer, subcontractors and our employees and contract workers.” Safety is an integral part of our Total Quality Management program.

We are the first design build contractor in Niagara to achieve COR™ designation.

Timbro received prestigious Certification of Recognition (COR) status in 2013, by the Infrastructure Health and Safety Association as recognized by the Canadian Federation of Construction Safety Associations (CFCSA). COR is a national standard for the measurement and continuous improvement of workplace health and safety including a volunteer occupational health and safety audit. Timbro is required to conduct an internal audit on their HSMS on an annual basis using the IHSA COR audit instrument.

Hand in hand with experience and expertise, are strong safety procedures and best practices. Our in-house erection crews are fully trained, outfitted and certified in Timbro’s Safety Policy. This policy is actively enforced with each crew, resulting in a commitment to safety that’s unrivaled in the industry. We believe that safety is everybody’s responsibility, every minute of every day on every job. “Safety isn’t expensive, it’s priceless.”
